YMCA Camp Y Koda

Camp Y Koda was founded & purchased in 1969 by the Sheboygan County YMCA with a mission to promote responsible stewardship of the environment and enhance participant quality of life by offering hands-on education opportunities. Camp Y Koda's vision is to strengthen our community by connecting youth and families with the outdoors by providing valuable outdoor experiences.

The Christopher Farm and Gardens is proud to partner with Camp Y Koda and offers a space for additional outdoor experiences for families within our community. Scarecrow Festival
Camp Y Koda will hold it's 5th Annual Scarecrow Festival Fundraiser hosted by The Christopher Farm & Gardens and Camp Y Koda on October 5 & 6, 2024. This fall community event features scarecrows displayed throughout the gardens and welcomes thousands of community members out to enjoy a fun-filled day exploring the gardens, enjoying youth activities, and voting for the best scarecrow designs.

All proceeds raised at this event directly benefits our community by connecting youth and families with the outdoors by providing quality hands-on outdoor experiences through Camp Y Koda.

Scarecrow Festival is also a great way to promote your business within our community while at the same time supporting a worthwhile cause and a one-of-a-kind teambuilding activity. In 2022 nearly 2,000 people attended the festival. For information on how to sign up for the scarecrow contest, click Camp Y Koda Scarecrow Contest Information.

Pee Wee Summer Camp
Camp Y Koda offers countless camp opportunities for kids of all ages including day camp options to make friends and build confidence, specialty camps for older kids with specific passions or hobbies, leadership camps for kids hoping to become future camp counselors, week long camp stays, adventure trips, and even Pee Wee Summer Camp offerings for the young adventurers aged 4-5.

The Christopher Farm and Gardens is able to provide a fun field trip opportunity for one of the specific Pee Wee Summer Camp offerings, The Little Farmer Camp. This camp offers the opportunity to experience the old-time country farm lifestyle during a week of camp farm fun. The kids learn about caring for animals, planting, harvesting, cooking and more while partaking in farm themed activities, crafts and a mid-week field trip to The Christopher Farm and Gardens.
