It is not uncommon to see deer walking in the gardens and enjoying nibbling their way through the flower and vegetable gardens. The farm fields of corn and alfalfa crops provide ample grazing acreage. The wooded areas provide places for the deer to bed down. In the spring we enjoy seeing mothers and newly born fawns walking the grounds.
Deer damage is something we try to prevent. In the fall we put protective sleeves on smaller trees to prevent bark damage by bucks scraping their antlers. In the winter we will see 20 - 30 deer herded up in the fields.

In the fall hunting season we typically harvest between 10 to 15 deer on the Farm property.
